The jewel in the crown of Alsatian gastronomy, Whole Goose Foie Gras in a cloth is one of the emblematic products of the Edouard Artzner House.
Considered by epicureans as an exceptional product, it is made by our Chefs in our workshop in Schiltigheim, Alsace (France).
To create this Fresh Foie Gras, our Chefs carefully select the raw Foies Gras. They are then deveined by hand and seasoned with pepper, salt and a mixture of other spices kept secret since 1803.
Cooked at a very gentle temperature (60-70°C), this Goose Foie Gras is extremely smooth. The choice of this cooking method preserves the finesse and subtlety of the Goose Foie Gras flavours.
Its presentation is ideal to obtain nice round slices. A festive starter ideal for a Christmas meal, for the holidays or for a family event.
To cook this Foie Gras, our Chefs use the technique of vacuum cooking in a bain-marie. This method preserves the quality of the Foie Gras and ensures that it is cooked evenly and regularly. The result is a smooth, melting texture and a soft, subtle flavour.
Fans will have the pleasure of rediscovering the flavours of the Foie Gras of yesteryear.
To best accompany this Foie Gras, we recommend an Alsace white wine such as a Pinot Gris or a Gewurztraminer.
Choose the art of simplicity! For a gourmet starter, opt for country bread or a lightly toasted baguette. All you have to do is delicately place your slice of Foie Gras on top and garnish it with a little fleur de sel or a confit of onions, figs or mango.
This product can be kept between 30 and 90 days in the refrigerator. After opening, it can be consumed within 3 days if you leave it in the refrigerator, wrapped in cellophane.
Keep the cloth from your whole Goose Foie Gras; it can be used to brightly decorate your bread basket with the colors of Edouard Artzner during your dinner.

Bonjour,le Foie Gras d'Oie a un goût subtil et délicat, si vous aimez les saveurs plus prononcées nous vous conseillons davantage le Foie Gras de Canard,bien à vous, Maison Edouard Artzner
